Dell i5567-5274GRY 15.6” Laptop Computer Review

Dell i5567-5274GRY is a well-equipped and ‘more than enough’ machine for a home user.  It can handle day to day computing tasks with ease and can perform some of the resource demanding programs as well. For instance, you can use this laptop for editing photo and videos, decoding/encoding media files etc. It incorporates a decent Intel core i5-7200u processor and 8GB DDR4 RAM. It is equipped with 256GB Solid State Drive which offers faster data access compared to a traditional 5400rpm hard drive. However, the laptop comes with few shortcomings of its own.  Dell i5567-5274GRY or Model: I5567-5274GRY-P doesn’t come with discrete graphics and integrated graphics 620 is the only option for this machine. A discrete graphics comes with separate video memory which not only boosts gaming performance but also accelerates performance of certain photo and video editing programs. Again, it has standard 1366 X 768 pixels resolution which supports 720p content playback but is not able to display content in 1080p resolution. A full HD display (1920 X 1080p) produces more accurate colors and is useful for photo and video editing.  You can also consider Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 which is also powered by Intel core i5-7200u processor but comes with discrete graphics ( NVIDIA Geforce 940MX  with 2GB GDDR5 video memory). It has Full HD display and backlit keyboard as well. However, both the laptops are non-touch laptops.

It has 3MB of cache.  Both the processors are dual core processors.  However, the HP laptop doesn’t support wireless ac (supports up to 802.11 n) while Dell I5567-5274GRY-P supports wireless ac. All the above mentioned laptop come with internal CD/DVD drive.
