HP Silver Iridium Ci5 15-cc050wm Review

HP Silver Iridium Ci5 15-cc050wm 15.6″ Laptop is not a cheap laptop and offers decent value for its price. The laptop is perfect choice for home users as well as students. The machine is fast enough for day to day tasks like working with Microsoft Office, streaming videos, surfing the internet, Skype, emailing, creating presentation etc. It also supports casual PC gaming, 3D designing, photo and video editing but it is not suitable for heavy 3D designing or editing large HD videos. It lacks dedicated gaming graphics but you can play many latest PC games in low to medium details and settings. There are other drawbacks as well with this laptop. The laptop does not offer Solid State Drive which makes booting process fast. It comes with low screen resolution (1366 X 768 pixel) and the keyboard is not backlit.  The laptop is part of HP’s Pavilion series so you can’t expect metallic built. If you are looking for a budget laptop which comes with Solid State drive, backlit keyboard and dedicated gaming graphics then you can consider Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 laptop. Like HP 15-cc050wm, it is also powered by Intel core i5-7200u processor but it has dedicated NVIDIA Geforce 940MX graphics  with 2GB DDR5 video memory. The laptop also comes with backlit keyboard and a 256GB Solid state Drive. However, it has 8GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 32GB). The Acer laptop is not a touchscreen laptop but you don’t need a touchscreen interface with Windows 10. None of the laptops are 2 in 1 but both come with inbuilt CD/DVD burner.
