Lenovo G710 59395518 specification and performance

Under the hood of Lenovo G710 59395518, there is a 4th generation Intel core i3-4000M dual core processor which operates with 2.4 GHz frequency. Like its predecessor, it comes with hyperthreading technology, which means two physical cores can handle 4 threads at a time.  As this is known to everybody,  you might be interested in knowing about the differences between  Intel core i3-3110M and i3-4000M, as both are clocked with 2.4 GHz. As a matter of fact, both processors are fabricated with 22nm technology, but there are some architectural differences which make i3-4000M 5-10% faster than core i3-3110M. Again, some features like AVX2.0 and FMA3 instructions set, which are integrated in Core i3-4000M, are missing in core i3-3110M.  In day-to-day computing, user will hardly be able to find a difference in performance of the processors.

However, Intel HD 4600 graphics that comes with Intel core i3-4000M is much improved version of Intel HD 4000 which is integrated with core i3-3110M.  Lenovo G710 59395518 offers 8 GB memory. With this amount of base memory, you can play all modern games like Dirt 3, GTA IV, COD black ops 2, Crysis 2, far cry 3 in low to medium details with around 30fps. Older and low end games can be played fluently.

Buyers, who are not willing to spend extra money to get discrete GPU integrated machine, can at least play 2011′s best games at reasonable detail with Intel HD 4600, which would, otherwise, not  be possible with Intel HD 4000.

Lenovo G710 59395518 offers 8GB DDR3 1600MHz SO-DIMM arranged in two slots. It comes with 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive. Windows 8 operating system is preinstalled on the HDD.
